Food colorants are important in food selection because they improve the gastronomic appeal of foods by improving their aesthetic appeal. However, after prolonged use, many turn toxic and cause medical problems. A synthetic azo-class dye called carmoisine gives meals a red color. Therefore, determination samples is great importance from human health control. The current work was developed to synthesis ZnO hollow quasi-spheres (ZnO HQSs) prepare new electrochemical sensor that sensitive. Field emission-scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) X-ray diffraction (XRD) have been used analyze properties prepared HQSs. screen-printed graphite electrode (SPGE) surface modified with HQSs HQSs-SPGE sensor. For detection, demonstrated an appropriate response notable electrocatalytic activities. electro-oxidation signal significantly stronger on compared bare SPGE. Cyclic voltammetry (CV), linear sweep (LSV), chronoamperometry (CHA), differential pulse (DPV) utilized investigate suggested protocol. DPV results revealed extensive association between variable concentrations peak ranged 0.08 190.0 µM, limit detection (LOD) as narrow 0.02 µM. HQSs-SPGE’s ability detect real proved sensor’s practical application.
